Mr. E. Ste'Phan Lane

My name is Mr. Lane, and I am honored to serve as the proud principal of Kings Highway Elementary Magnet School.

My journey in education began right here at Kings Highway, where I first served as a teacher before taking on various roles throughout the Pinellas County Schools district.  This past summer, I was blessed to return as the assistant principal and was later elevated to the role of principal following the transition of my friend and mentor, Principal Boyd, as she moved on to new opportunities within our district.

As the leader of this remarkable institution, my goal is to implement systems that support and sustain the academic growth of every student—empowering them to achieve success both during their time at KHEMS and long after they leave our halls.

As an engaged, servant leader, it is both my duty and my pleasure to serve you. Hello Lion Families,

I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal of Kings Highway Elementary Magnet School. With over 10 years of experience in education supporting students from kindergarten through eighth grade, I am passionate about creating learning environments where every child can thrive.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from Salem State University, a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Florida Gulf Coast University, and a master’s degree in Special Education from Bridgewater State University. My background includes supporting teachers, analyzing student data, and fostering inclusive classrooms that empower all learners.

At Kings Highway, I believe in the power of partnership between families, staff, and the community. Together, we will strengthen teaching and learning, ensuring that every scholar succeeds academically and socially. My commitment is to provide a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where all students feel valued and inspired to reach their full potential.
